Trouble Hearing Theremin on Zoom

So, I have been having issues with Zoom on my Mac Book. I have tried all manner of setting in zoom and with my computer. but I cannot hear my theremin.

When Original Sound for Musicians is on, and high fidelity is on it can sometimes be heard, but any sustained note will be cut off. This happens direct input and when playing through a speaker with microphone.

I’m wondering if anyone has run into this issue before at all.

For reference, I have an Etherwave Plus and an SSL 2+ mkii interface, Roland ts and xlr cables, and a Yamaha Hs5 speaker. When I use a mic it’s a sennheiser e835.

I had a similar experience although I have a different interface and a Windows PC.

My mixer/interface is a Zoom Livetrak L6 which has 32 bit ADC's also. (Zoom is the interface manufacturer. Nothing to do with Zoom meeting!)

Trying to use the interface with Zoom meeting in 32 bit mode, I had a very bad and weak sound.
In fact the sound was bad for the other Zoom participants but I could hear them perfectly through the interface.
I switched the interface to 24 bit mode and everything is now perfect both ways.

If your interface allows 24 bit mode, give it a try.
