Does This Idea Have Merit?

Jason and other members of Theremin World,

As we all know, this site is slowly reaching its end. As it is build on Legacy code that no longer compiles, one day it may cease to function. However, I may have found a low effort and cost solution

Preface: I am rather inexperienced in software, so this may not work at all. Regardless, I think it is worth a shot.

For as much as I dislike ai, It may be able to update this websites code into modern code through a precess that I think is called Legacy Code Refactoring

I have found several companies that have ai that may be able to refactor Theremin Worlds code, and I am willing to contact these companies and get a price quote (Provided I can actually figure out what I am talking about software wise) While I'm not able to guess how much it will cost, I think a great start is to find that out. We can use patron and try to get donations to pay if it proves to be expensive

I do not know how websites/this website store data, so whether or not the update will keep previous forum posts I know not. If not, It's not even worth it in my opinion.

So Jason and everone else: Is this Feasible? Would you support this idea if it was?
