Did like the interface. Didn't like the sound which is always too "synthetic" to my old-fashioned ears. And the vibrato, generated by an LFO, has nothing natural or "organic" too. But that's a matter of taste, and, "Les goûts et les couleurs ne se discutent pas!"
Thus, I'm basically positive about this kind of developments. I have to accept that all I learnt about "expression musicale" more than 40 years ago is of very little or no interest nowadays where the modular synthesizer experts fiddle around their patches for hours, just to produce a short sequence of weird sounds which will provoke frenetic applause...
Tempora mutant, as the Romans say, and I feel that I'm getting old... ;-)

Just a monophonic ribbon controller on a stick (poor ergonomics) with tired old analog synthesis. People were doing this kind of thing when I was a kid (long ago).
The left hand technique looks really awkward during the 2001 theme. Why have a pitch bend wheel on a continuous controller? Why have a volume wheel on an XZ controller? It seems like the left hand isn't properly utilized most of the time, and when it is it's doing something weird or superfluous.
The Continuum does this kind of thing way better IMO.
