Theremin modification discontinued

Hello all. After about a year of worsening vision from diabetes, and learning I can no longer get glasses to correct my vision, I am reluctantly discontinuing all theremin modifications at this time. In the coming days, I will be updating my web site to reflect this action.

It's been a great honor, and privilege to have had the opportunity to enhance over half a dozen Etherwaves with Thierry's module, and Chris' mute switch.

I will, of course, continue my endeavours with producing meaningful, and entertaining music with the theremin.

Really sorry to hear about your problem. Please be careful - deterioration of eyesight due to diabetes is serious and also a serious warning.. try to be sure that your doctors are doing their job - sometimes a change of meds can make a huge difference.

If I had to choose between insulin and Russell Stover sugar-free candies I would choose the candy! Diabetes affects my hearing so I must conclude that you and I working together could be a good team. (-:

@FredM Thanks. I've been seeing half a dozen specialists, and wasted $900 in the process of trying to get glasses, only to find out my congenital sight loss is now being augmented by age and diabetes. Yeh, I'm well aware the damage diabetes will do to vision, and other organs.

Sorry to hear about your health problems, Thomas. You are a real gentleman with a very generous nature. I hope your condition stabilizes.
