Need Mac/iPad owners to help test something

I've enabled the new feature for a small set of users.  If it's working smoothly, I'll gradually enable it for more people.  I'm a little concerned about the database side of the story, so I'm reluctant to turn it on for everyone until the design is proven a bit further.
