The description says clearly: From The Ether Theremin circuitry is based around a "modernized" vacuum tube design by Mark Keppinger. which should answer your question.

Duh....thanks I missed that.  I wonder why someone doesn't duplicate the original RCA design to sell.  Could there still be patent infringements?

Probably Gordin Masazane theremin is based on RCA schematic. Does anyone know something about this model?

I continue to play my Kepp since its completion in 2008. As a product of old technology, it is heavy. The large, RCA reproduction antennas are exceptionally responsive. The theremin is cranky and cantankerous; as is to be expected. I have played the latest product from Moog and I still prefer this beautiful beast of an instrument. I simply love Gabriella.
