Hi all,
Some of my students have expressed a desire to attend a workshop if I organized one, and gave classes.
The big questions are, where, and when?
So far, the top locations being considered are:
Touscan AZ, New Orleans LA, Memphis TN, Atlanta GA, or Jackson MS.
One of my Students hails from Arizona, and a friend of his owns a retreat / venue which might be suitable for a workshop (the only reason I'm considering Touscan).
I've got to keep my travel expense down, which is why it's currently just the above locations being considered. Also, I'm trying to keep the venues centrally located in the U.S. to help keep visitor travel costs down as well.
The time frame would be next year, around spring break, mid-late March time frame, or possibly early autumn, late October-early November 2010, both times would be the most comfortable, temperature wise for either parts of the country.
The workshop would possibly run 3 to 4 days over a weekend, starting on a Friday morning, and ending on a Sunday, or Monday afternoon, and would include 3-4 hours of structured classes for everyone, with a few hours available for private / semi private lessons, and then live entertainment at night (possibly)
I'll check back here as often as I can, but e-mails can also be sent to me as well.
Once I finalize the costs, location, and time for the workshop (based on input), it'll be posted on my site, as well as the concert and exhibit section of TW.
Thank you.
