I have a beautiful Moog Etherwave Pro Theremin for sale.

This instrument was given to me by my father, who was an enthusiast. To the best of my knowledge he bought it new and only ever played it in his music room at home. It is in excellent condition with only a few very small marks on the black rear housing, see photos.
I’ve had this instrument for six or seven years now, trying to decide what to do with it. For that time, it has been stored in its padded carrying case in a clean dry bedroom closet.
In preparation to list, I turned it on, and my wife and I played with it a little. Everything is in perfect working order. I included a couple videos of us messing around with it. … Don’t laugh at our total inability. I’ve seen these played a few times before, but beyond mimicking some motions, I have no idea how it works. … And for that reason, I will be very happy to sell this instrument to someone who can play it and will appreciate it for what it is.

I know these are quite special and fairly rare. I found only two recent listings to use as comparable for pricing. One sold on eBay in January for $5,750 plus $50 shipping (Link). … And I see another listed for sale for $8,000 (Link). Both appear to be very comparable to mine. Given those, I’m asking...

Given that this is a forum for real Theremin enthusiasts, I thought I’d post for sale here first. If, after a while, there are no interested buyers I’ll move over and list on ebay. It’s advantageous for me to sell here as I’ll avoid a hefty ebay commission. And, if I have to move to ebay later, it will be for a higher price to offset those fees.
Shipping within continental U.S. strongly preferred (but willing to discuss overseas shipping). For all shipping within U.S., I will ensure extra care and protection is used in packaging and have UPS bill you directly. You choose your delivery speed and add as much insurance as you like. I will not accept a return.
Payment options: PayPal or Zelle. But if you would like additional transaction protection, we can use Escrow.com. There are fees associated with Escrow.com, and those will be the responsibility of the buyer (approx. $165 for a wire transfer). I will not ship until payment has been received in full or transferred in full to escrow.
