More news!

Probably this will be far more polarizing than the Cvox...

Price might be a bit more attainable, though!

As I understand it, a voltage controlled (derived from the RF antenna signals) rectangle/triangle/sawtooth generator is used for sound creation. This has nothing in common with the original design of Leon Theremin. His instruments generate a quite natural sound which requires no further processing and has not to be buried by reverb. The Theremin instrument is no beat-frequency generator, producing a pure sine audio wave, nor is it a measurement waveform generator. It is a true musical instrument when all the necessary principles are applied.

So near, yet so far.  The price is right though!

Ha! I sure got scooped on this one! I've been staying away from Facebook lately because all the political malarky going on, and I missed Uli Behringer's post. I'll reach out to Behringer to see if I can get any more information, but please keep the questions, theories, and opinions coming.

I got the news from MuffWiggler only minutes after it went public. It only took minutes for the theories to start flying over at the LevNet fb page.

It seems to use the same faceplate color and knobs as the Claravox - coincidence?

The knob layout is a little weird, with the pitch knob way over on the left.  And I don't think I'd stick the headphone out right next to the pitch antenna.

MIDI THRU only?  Don't you need an IN port to do THRU?  I'm confused.

That shouldn't be a problem when they give you a nice diagram of the resulting pitch field in the logo right below it...

Seems to be a promising travel option.
