I've just recieved a set of model K boards from Philip (hypergolic), and to say I'm impressed is a gross understatement.

The quality is outstanding and they are smaller than I expected.

If I use ferrite core coils, I'll have a genuine Keppinger tube theremin not much bigger than an Etherwave.

This is officially cool.

glad that someone else is taking a crack at the "k". The more the merrier.

AFAI, I have the only one ever  assembled , heh.    Got it working and playable,  but  there are definitely some issue with the circuit that  need addressig- namely,  the tone is terrible!

Miller 6300 series coils will work as replacements for the large coils.... but they aint nearly as pretty.

Thanks, Chobbs.

As much as I'd like the aesthetics of the big coils, this one needs to be a bit more portable. I might build an old school version later.

I have a few ideas concerning tone. Some of the same tricks I use in tube guitar amps and ham radio will be applied after the basic board is running and I can hear what it wants.

I've also designed a solid state high voltage regulator for it, but it only exists in the simulator for now.
