I've been trying to do some closet cleaning, and as a result I'm selling off some instruments that have been gathering dust. One of those instruments is a Big Briar 91A theremin in near mint condition. It's a walnut model and it works like new. I just don't play it enough anymore to warrant keeping it around the house. I still have one of my own vacuum tube models from a few years back to play on.
There weren't a whole lot of 91 model theremins made, and I haven't seen many for sale, but they're great instruments with extremely linear response and a traditional look.
This particular 91 was used in the first theremin
festival up in Portland, and was signed by Bob Moog (inside the cabinet) at that festival. Anyone who might be interested in this modern classic can contact me at theremin@bellsouth.net.
