Hi, Just when I was about to set up for a video shoot today, the theremin decided to go on strike.
Anyone have this problem?
The theremin has allways had a flaky power up problem in which you'd get a false start, and had to power down, wait for a couple of power pops, and then recycle the power switch after which you'd get a good start up.
Today was different. This time, all you get on power up, is a single power pop, but no start tone. On powering down, there is no double power pop, and no power up on the repeat switch throw.
I've contacted Moog, and I'm waiting for a response from them, but I thaught I'd toss this out to y'all, and see if anyone else has had this problem.
I've had this problem once before back in october, and Moog sort of fixed it, but they suspected the problem would crop back up which it has, so it's not totally unexpected with this issue.
Moral of this story: Allways have a backup! Especially when going pro
Any thaughts?
