Are they any good?

How do they compare to say a Moog Etherwave?

It is the simplest tube theremin schematic i have found, i have been intersted in building a tube theremin for quite a while now, this is the only schematic that doesnt use many coils or transformers.

Can anyone comment on this schematic, does it look like the schematic of a theremin that will work.
